A Great 1st Day at RBES

Good evening RBES Families!

We had the best 1st Day of School today!  Thank you to all the teachers, volunteers, district staff, and community members for making this day such a happy and exciting day at RBES.  

We know there are a few areas to work out with car line and bus routes.  Morning carline is always long the first few days, but several factors this morning outside of campus made it run a little slow.  We have contacted Madison PD to help with a few traffic issues and we appreciate your patience.  It would be helpful for cars to pull up as close as possible to get more cars on campus.  Our crossing guard also asked for you to use your blinker so she knows how needs to turn onto campus.  

For the afternoon carline...whoa.  Today was so long and we appreciate your patience.  Our plan for organizing the students  in the gym will run better tomorrow and we are changing or method for calling numbers.  We know it will get better each day!  You can help by working with your student to learn their car line number!

For Free and Reduced Lunch forms, please visit the Madison City Schools Website to fill out an application. 

To add money to your student's lunch account, you can pay on the LinQ Website.  For new accounts, you will need your student's Student Number, which can be found in PowerSchool where you registered your student.  I would suggest viewing this on a computer and not in the PowerSchool App. We cannot provide a student number over the phone, so please do not call the office to ask. 

Tomorrow is FRIDAY and Kindergarten Boy Day!  We look forward to having all of our students together on Monday!
